a new offering from patagonia, these sardines come in a mild curry sauce.

a white bowl with a blue outside holds short-grain white rice topped with five medium-small sardines, with red pepper and potato in the coconut curry sauce. a few tomato halves garnish. the whole ensemble is on a blue-and-white checkered placemat; a glass of kefir is on a coaster on the side.

The flavor is pleasant the sardines are pretty good quality. I kind of wish the curry were a touch more assertive---a bit of spice or more interesting vegetables would make me reach for these more often.
