one big beautiful fillet in a tangy wine sauce; red pepper, citrus, and a pickle slice round out the very aromatic flavor. the fish is SO tender, the flavor so light. sauce is intense and floral

i loved this tossed with spaghetti, but the vinegar really comes through. odd to have wine, vinegar, and citrus all together, but it works! next time i'll add some butter to balance things out.

ingredients say "chilli", but i could detect no heat. added black pepper.

this was meant to be an 'easy' tinned fish dinner but the Honourable Lady Fishposting was not so into it, alas

i had this tin back in january, which is what turned me on to Mouettes d'Arvor in the first place

great macros that don't add up: a serving (of "about 3" in the tin) is 8g protein, 7g fat, and 0g carbs in 80kcal
