tin is tightly packed, no visible oil beyond a smear of liquid in the tin
these were big oyster, and they've been treated quite well. a few have some chewiness, but generally very tender. excellent smoke flavor, plenty of oyster flavor
these are good---real good. but they're also like 4x the cost of Crown Prince smoked oysters in oil
ingredients say they're packed in sunflower oil with some spices and a bit of a cure, but the flavor is all oyster. i see why people are excited about them
a bonus: 20g protein, 6g fat, 9g carbs in 170kcal---more macronutritional bang for your buck than Crown Prince's very oily offering
i'll definitely try to keep a can or two on hand for when i'm craving a Superior Smoked Oyster Experience
